As you can see, Rod combed his hair today. He's looking more and more like his usual handsome self. Unfortunately, a test result came back today that showed bacteria in his respiratory system so even though he is looking very spiffy, his visiting and exploring privileges have been restricted until he is no longer contagious. For Rod, this means no more trips around the hospital and no children or wise (aka elderly) visitors until further notice.
If you are not a child or wise and you would still like to come and visit Rod, just know that you may need to wear a mask, gown, or take other precautions. Rod would still appreciate lots of visitors and still loves children and the wise, we just don't want to get anyone sick. Thank you all for your continued support. It really does make a difference.
Rod, we are so pleased about your progress. What a fighter you are! Even though there is a little bit of "two steps forward, one back" involved, you have come such a long way. Always remember, things WILL get better. This is not forever. Just keep watching for the tender mercies, which are surely there. Best wishes to you and your family. And Get Well Soon!

Keep up the good work Rod. There is not a day where Cyrus and I do not think about your or talk about you. We are always praying for you to have a fast recovery.
